Seasonal Rental Equipment is now PAST DUE. Equipment was due back April 3rd. We are accepting returns during the following hours:
Monday, April 13 – Saturday, April 18 8am – 6pm.

The Six Week Lesson Program is the best valued program with the most instruction for the least money. The continuity of this six-week program provides the greatest opportunity for skiers and riders to improve over the course of the season. To be eligible for the program, children must be the age of 4 by January 1, 2026.
For the Six Week Program, you pick a day and time and stay with that day and time for six consecutive weeks. If there is a cancellation of a day by Thunder Ridge, the program will be extended by one week at the end of the program. There are no make ups for classes skipped or missed. 60 Minute Six Week Program
MiniBolt Ski Group: Ski lessons for children ages 4 to 7 years old. This is a one hour midweek program designed to introduce children to skiing. This program will maintain a one instructor to two students ratio. The lessons begin the first week of January and run for six consecutive weeks.
The MiniBolt programs are available at the following times:
Monday, Tuesday 3:30PM or 4:30PM;
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10:00AM, 1:00PM, 3:30PM or 4:30PM.
90 Minute Six Week Program
Thunderbolt Ski Group: Ski lessons for children ages 4 to 7 years old. These are the perfect lessons to introduce your child to skiing or help them gain the confidence to ski the entire mountain with you. Lessons for 4 -7 year old students will be lower mountain only. More advanced lessons with full mountain access will need to schedule a private lesson.
The Thunderbolt programs are available at the following days and times: Saturday, Sunday 9:30 AM all levels.
Lightning Bolt Ski Group: Ski lessons are offered for all abilities for ages 8 and up. Lesson groups are divided by age and ability. Great for the first timer all the way up to advanced skiers and riders.
The Lightning Bolt Ski Group programs are available at the following days and times:
Saturday, Sunday 9:30AM Level 1 Only, 3:30PM all levels;
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 5:30PM ages 8 and up all levels.
Ridge Rider Board Group: Snowboarding lessons are offered for all abilities for ages 6 years old and up. Great for the first timer all the way up to advanced riders.
The Ridge Rider Board programs are available at the following days and times:
Saturday, Sunday 9:30AM Level 1 & 2 Only, 3:30PM ages 8 and up all levels;
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 5:30PM ages 8 and up all levels.
ABILITY LEVEL DESCRIPTIONS
LEVEL 1- I have never skied/snowboarded and never had a lesson. I cannot stop and turn.
LEVEL 2- I ski/snowboard but am still working on my control, turning and stopping.
LEVEL 3 SKI – I maintain control by turning and stopping. My Wedge (Pizza) is my comfort zone.
LEVEL 4+ SKI – I have gone beyond green or blue trails and maintain control while keeping my skis parallel.
LEVEL 3 SNOWBOARD – I ride and maintain control on green trails.
LEVEL 4+ SNOWBOARD – I ride and maintain control on blue or black trails.

Six Week Seasonal Ski & Snowboard Lesson Program Policy
Please read the above program policy for the Six Week Seasonal Lessons – there are no make ups for missed classes. If we close due to weather, Thunder Ridge will reschedule the closed date.
A Seasonal Rental is available for purchase only to participants of the Six Week Program. A Seasonal Rental is available for either Ski/Boot/Poles OR Snowboard/Boots. Helmets are recommended for lessons but are not required. WE DO NOT RENT HELMETS. All seasonal rentals MUST be pre-fitted prior to the start of the Six Week Program. No rental fittings will be done day of lesson. All seasonal rentals need to be returned to the rental department by April 1, 2026.
